Rowan is intentionally building collaborative and productive relationships throughout  Bell County to develop our project with their feedback in mind — and will continue to seek out diverse perspectives as the process continues.

COMMUNITY-ORIENTED

Rowan plans to invest millions of dollars in the Bell County region, which will fund shared priorities around education, emergency response, and support for local families.

  • Rowan understands that developers have an obligation to the communities they build in to limit the impact of development — and we have a track record across the country to show for it.

  • Rowan leads the data center industry in sustainability best practices; from low-water technologies  to recycling construction material, we hold ourselves to extremely high standards.

  • This location in Bell County is prime for creative cooling and energy strategies that allows our team to explore many infrastructure options to ensure our project integrates seamlessly with other industrial developments in the region.

  • We are meeting with Temple city and county officials and are opening new channels for community input.

  • A full sound and visual impact assessment is underway. We are implementing 50--foot minimum setbacks and plan to incorporate native vegetation screening.

  • We have identified a liaison between our company and the city and county governments to be available for questions, and we are building communications tools for community members to connect with the project team at any time.

  • A projected $1.2 billion investment over 20 years will result in major tax revenue gains for the Temple and Rogers ISDs, the City of Temple, and Bell County. 

  • Hundreds of construction jobs and dozens of full-time, high-wage jobs will be created. 

  • Rowan is working closely with local leaders to ensure the community has opportunities to meet our team, ask questions, and help shape this project.
